well it depends on how old he is. if he is young then its hard to tell if he likes you. being that he might try to look cool and not show that he likes you.
but usually a guy would make eye contact a lot. he would smile a lot. he would always try to be near you. he would ask to hold your stuff or walk you home or to your class.
the number one way of knowing he likes you is if he asks you out on a date.

I am guy, I think it is defferent from guy to other but if you really need to know.... The best way to find a way to get this information from his closest friend..

If he smiles a goofy even slightly and looks away from you when you are talking to him.
