There are lots of things to do in Chicago. They have a great childrens museum out at Navy Pier. There are lots of things to do on Navy Pier. Rides and such for all ages. The chicago zoo is another good choice. Or if they are older spend some time just walking around the windy city and enjoy the many examples of architechture (spelling). Take a ride on one of the river boats and enjoy the skyline. Take a train ride. Be sure and catch the sunrise or sunset on the Lake. Hope this helped.

You could go to the beach. Then for dinner you can go to the midievil times resturant. Kids love that!!!! Maybe do a little shopping, but some kids could get bored during that. You could also see a show. It depends on what the kids are interested in. If you have little girls you can take them to the American girl store. There is alot to do there. The lego store is also pretty interesting for kids.

Definately the aquarium- it is amazing! The Sears Tower would probably be fun for older kids.

Little girls will love The American Girl Place. Shedd Aquarium is good, too.
