I don't know but it's just crazy. There is way too much information about people available to big business and government. I'm sure that in my 18 years of life that there have been many gigabytes worth of my info collected. I'm sure that no one group or person actually has access to all of the information but I bet that someone with enough know how and money could get it all and put together a comprehensive personality profile, intelligence assessment, find out what all of my interests are, and anything else that they care to know about me. I'm a little paranoid and I use anonymous proxies to connect to the Internet whenever I'm looking at anything other than some computer game. I encrypt any and all files on my computer that contain any information that could identify me and i overwrite any files i delete with a dozen passes of pseudo-random data so that they're irrecoverable.

I'm probably just way over paranoid but at least I'm not giving my bank info and computer passwords out to strangers.

Call it a cencus. The government doles out money and aid to its citizenry. And it wants to know how they fair so that they can have an idea what they need. Also, there are alot of naughty people here. They don't know who all of them are so they keep tabs on everyone. And last but not least: their just plain nosy.

You have lost your little paranoid mind.

If you think the United States Government doesn't have anything more pressing than your bathing habits to monitor, you have another "think" coming.

Exactly whom are you referring to when you say "confirmed"?

If you don't get help at charter, get help somewhere.

For most people the government doesn't care about those things, just the people they see as threats to them or our society, like criminals and terrorists.
