In addition to working with your Realtor, talk to your employer. Many companies have programs to help employees with relocation. Many will provide moving allowances, as well as guaranteed home sale plans. It is worth a try. Your company's Human Resources office is probably the best place to find this information.

Good luck with your move.

Talk to your realtor. They should be willing to work with you to sell your house, even after you move. When I bought my house, the sellers were living out of state. It was a little bit of a hassle trying to contact them with questions. But we worked through it. All in all it was a very good experience.

Good luck!
