It is a short drive...between 10.5 and 12.5 kilometres (depends on the route you take)
If you are not traveling in the "rush" hours...
Take a taxi. it shouldn't be more then 15 to 20 minutes.

Or you can take the Metro...

line 8: Barajas to Nuevos Ministerios (Nuevos Ministerios is your stop)
Then...
change to line 10 Fuencarral-Puerta del Sur (direction Fuencarral, get off at Chamartin it's the 4th. stop)

Cheapest and also probably fastest way is to take the subway. There is a change of trains en route so give yourself 45 minutes to an hour to be safe and learn the route buy tickets etc...
