I believe that I'm here to enjoy the beauty of the universe that was created by God , which I also believe happened in a word, not the six day story. This is GOD we're talking about.

I think we're all here to learn the lessons we need to make ourselves better spiritual beings. For instance, I'm a bit of a control freak and am very impatient, but I've been learning over the past few years to take my time and be more patient with people. It's almost a reincarnation thing; I think we may have a choice to come back and improve ourselves over and over again until we feel we are as good as we are capable of being. Just my opinion!

The more advanced we become the less we have to do physically and have more time to ponder why we are on this earth. Where as thousands and thousands of years ago we could care less why we are here and all we cared about was food to survive. We didn't care when one of the pack died until one day one person saw things differently and mourned the death of another. I think this evolving isn't because we are special in a spiritual sense it was a way to help us survive. Once we learned to value each other it secured our place for awhile on this planet because there is strength in numbers. I think we are here to learn. We are not meant to have all the answers if we did we would not grow or survive.

We're here to do whatever we were put here to do. All of us have a purpose on this earth and we have to find out what is is and live a good like doing that.

Only because we choose to be. All living things procreate because they believe that life has value. Without procreation, there would be no continuation of life. Western philosophy has idolized "progress" or "self-betterment" as a reason for living. Taken to the extreme, however, this idea can lead to elitism, discrimination, favoritism, racism, xenophobia, and fascism. I think that on the whole, self-fulfillment and self-realization are better goals.

To become aware....which sounds simple but isn't. Look around--most people are only aware of what they need (but not why they need it) and how other people can help them or be forced to give in. In my life, I have very little awareness, so I am not pointing fingers--just describing what I think I see.

we are here as a sick joke by some one playing a computer game like the "sims", or we are a pet project of some advanced life form, like an "ant farm" to our kids.

being here on earth in a physical form is like being away at boarding school ....we come here to learn and experience and when we have finished our "learning" for this life time we graduate and go "home"

Because we are supposed to be. The odds of you or I being here are astronomical so there is a reason we made it.
