Assuming this is a healthy weight for your frame....
Start by drinking a lot of water. Really, it is the biggest difference maker in regulating your weight.
Eat small portions throughout the day and excercise. Don't starve yourself, make sure you are getting at least 1000 calories per day.
And if you start feeling weak and tired. Eat MORE, you're setting yourself back.

www.nutrisystem.com
a months worth of food(many kinds to choose from) for $289.46
i don't know your situation. i'm going to start with Nutrisystem as i want to lose 40lbs. you can loose up to 10lbs a month if you follow with their food plan so you might just be able to lose that much by then. it is a lot of weight to lose in barely 2 1/2 months though. Good luck!!!!
Or if you cant afford this as i know it is alot of money, you can just eat plenty of salads with low fat/calorie dressings, fresh fruit,
vegetables, low "bad" carbs, ie, white bread, pasta, mashed potatoes.... you can eat more boiled, broiled, grilled chicken/turkey without the skin. remember smaller portions, like instead of using a regular dinner plate use a smaller plate which forces you to put less on the plate. get an exercise program going or just walk whenever you can. take the stairs instead of the elevator and so on. don't give up! losing weight is not easy.
good luck!!! oh and drink atleast "10" 8oz glasses of water a day.
WATER, not soda or sweet crap. water will help flush out fat too.

oh I answered your first ? but I forgot to tell you... drink LOTS of water... it will curb hunger and your body needs it to flush out the junk in your system. A lot of times when you think you are hungry your body just needs some water... drink one full glass before you eat every time and only eat until you are no longer hungry. Cut out anything carbonated. Even if it has no sugar or fat or anything it negatively reacts with your muscles and won't allow the proper amount of oxygen to them to help them heal after working out. Not to mention the sodium will cause you to bloat

I lost 30lbs last summer in about 2 months...
I drank 8 glasses of water or more each day. I ate:
Cheese toast (on sugar free bread) for breakfast
Tuna salad (can of tuna, tablespoon and a half of mayo, diced pickel, and half a boiled egg mixted together) on sugar free bread for lunch
And salads for dinner - it worked really quick. I also walked at night.

If you will set that as your goal and you will try to do you best in order to reach that. Definetly possible, why not. It is all about your ability.
You have got to do some exersice and sweat like you was under heavy rain.

Fast fad diets will only make you regain whatever weight you lose. Get a nutrition expert, no pills, watch what you do and who you listen to because bulimia and anorexia start this way.

You can, but you will have to watch your intake of the things you really like. eat more vegies with no salt, red meat once a week, and no more fast food.
