SUB SHALL WIN THE SUB/DUB WAR >.
has anyone heard the Negima dub yet O.O;; Negi's voice makes me want to kill someone British in a very painful way!
As for what Ennah said:
Your right except once you hear the Sub and have a chance to compare to the Dub you notice how bad it is. Its like having something Good then having something Great. Once you've had the Great thing you never really want to go back to the Good one. We still support them were just wondering how ppl who have heard the Subs prefer to watch the Dubs. Besides the fact that some ppl cant read and watch at the same time.

I don't understand why people diss dubs so much. Yes, they are horrible compare to the subs but if it wasn't for them, anime would not be as well-known as it is today. Seriously, many people started watching anime because they were being aired on TV. If dubs were never aired on TV, than there would be so little anime fans right now. Plus, because of the all people who don't watch anime on TV any more with a reasoning that dubs are horrible, the ratings are going down and some shows are being canceled like Yu Yu Hakusho.
Even if most dubs are bad, anime fans should still support them because the more that they do, the higher the ratings of anime and the higher the chances of more anime being exposed on TV. Now, that doesn’t mean that you have to like the dubs because it’s not my business whether you like them or not but you shouldn’t try to spread hate towards them. All you are accomplishing by doing so is to bring the anime ratings down which affects many anime fans because less and less anime will be exposed to the world and on TV.

Not all of the dubbing is bad; I watch both sub & dub on my DVD player. I like the dub of Inu Yasha & Tenchi Muyo(series) when it was shown on the Cartoon Network.

I find the dubbing of most anime on Cartoon Network tolerable . . . as long as they're on the [adult swim] block. The anime on the regular CN is terrible, but then so is most of the other stuff on it nowadays.

i dont know, i was used to watch anime on local tv dubbed in spanish and let me tell you it had a WAY better sound than in english e.g. digimon...even the soundtracks were a LOT better sung in spanish out of the original japanese music, whereas in english they change all the songs to suit the american audience and it sucks big time (no offense).
