Is there a new bios for my Radeon X1600 pro 512 agp 8x???

Check the ATI website (http://www.ati.com)

It sounds like a relatively new card, so I would assume the bios is up to date.

You do not need a new bios. You need to uninstall your old video drivers yourself and install the new ones. You also have to move theplug to the video card.
