We are obsessed with cowardice because neither Bush nor Cheney served in Vietnam; instead they used their influence to stay home and let others die in their place. Cheney, as you know, got 5 deferrments.
We are obsessed that our Administration is run by 2 chickens who send others to do their dirty work, because they have shown they don't have the courage, the guts to take up arms themselves.
"Cheney's Five Draft Deferments During the Vietnam Era Emerge as a Campaign Issue" -- discusses the lengths VP Dick Cheney went to in order to avoid serving during the Viet Nam war.
It is apparent from the piece that Richard Cheney did everything humanly possible -- short of fleeing to Canada -- to avoid military conscription: He applied for and recieved 5 student deferments, a number described as "incredible" by professor David Curry of the University of Missouri in St. Louis. Curry has written extensively about the draft, including a 1985 book, "Sunshine Patriots: Punishment and the Vietnam Offender."

I don't need to research my answer; I can think for myself. You people are weak! It makes me ashamed to live in the U.S.A! Don't put down Bush and Cheney. If it wasn't for bleeding hearts like yourselves and the liberal media this war would be over, over!!! You have to fight to win. That means whatever it takes. They are not peacekeepers; they are trained to kill- let them do their job. In the real world, unfortunately, innocent people are killed. The terrorists know this; they know that you are weak-minded and not willing to do whatever it takes! Watch an execution video and then talk to me about whether it will be us or them. This war has to be fought, there is know other way. You are fools and cowards!
