If you only had a few hours to spend in Chicago....what is the one place that you would try to see??

Is there ONE restaurant that stands out in your mind?

i go to chicago quite frequently and there are some very cool things to do there. i would recommend visiting one of the museums-the field museum of natural history or the science museum. the navy pier is also cool depending on whats going on. its actually fun just going downtown and walking michigan avenue. as far as food goes, i would recommend some good chicago pizza-pizzeria uno or lou malnati's are my favorites.

Miller's Pub. 134 S. Wabash Ave. 312-645-5377 is great! Good food, good bar, great people. It is an old school Chicago resturant downtown right on to the loop, reminds me of a cross between Musso & Frank and the Brown Derby in LA if you know LA. Another comparison would be the Cheer's, if Melville's and Cheers were the same resturant. Go to a Cub's game if you want to experience Chicago, even if you do not like Baseball this is a must. The Field Museum is Awesome if you have time and of course the Sears Tower if you have time.

I would go down Michigan Avenue (Chicago's equivalent of Oxford Street) and go straight to a shop called Filene's Basement for original designer gear (not seconds) at rock bottom prices (e.g. I bought a leather DKNY handbag for $70, original price $120 when the cloth equivalent was selling for £150 in the UK).

Michael Jordan's restaurant, because I'm a basketball fan, also the food was good!

I would go to Cellular Park to see the White Sox's play, then to the muesum of Art and Industry, and hopefully try to catch the Taste of Chicago and then a stroll down Navy Pier to top off the day.

I would see the white sox play at U.S. Cellular Field, try to catch the taste if you can, or try either Keefers, or Rosebud (the one on Taylor) if you want high quality dining or Tuscany, Pompei, Rainbow Cone, or Italian Village if you want lower key dining
