I'm not Pro-Bono (ha ha) or Anti-Bono. But he's a big, rich, celebrity rock star. Can't he defend himself? Reading all the BonoDefenders is making me laugh.

No, but he's doing a hell of a lot more for the needy of this world than you are.
You don't need to be a big, rich, celebrity rock star to help people, look around you, start helping others.
And, no, I'm not defending Bono, I don't care about his music but he does encourage altruism, something many celebrities are not concerned with.

I just find it annoying how people like to talk trash about someone who is helping the world a hell of a lot more than they every will. But maybe I'm biased b/c I love U2 and Bono. I'm one of those U2 freaks. lol. Doesn't everyone defend things they like?

I agree with what you said, he's rich and famous. he can defend himself. and if he can't,,, well then he's still rich and probably just as famous. no one needs to defend him.
