what degree do you need to become a musical therapist?

There are universities offering both BS degrees and MA degrees in music therapy. One I know off hand is Texas Woman's University. I'm sure there are others as well. Try searching the internet.

There's another list of Music Therapy programs at the link below. Presumably, MT is like most disciplines--you can get your foot in the door with a Bachelor's degree, but you'll have more latitude with an advanced degree.
