Okay, here's the thing...

All the answers agree that moisturizer comes first.

Now the question is: does foundation or concealer come next?

Think about this logically. It's called "foundation" for a reason. You can't build a house without having a firm foundation first. The same goes for your makeup. You have to apply your foundation after the moisturizer. The point of using foundation is to create an even "canvas" to apply the rest of your makeup.

After you've done this take a step back from the mirror and look at your face. You might not need any concealer at all! The point of the concealer is to "conceal" any discolored areas that the foundation can't cover. You must buy a concealer brush and dab a tiny amount of concealer using the brush on any discolored spots ontop of your foundation. Keep patting on that spot until it is completely covered and utnil the concealer is completely blended in with the foundation.

You will notice that concealer comes in a smaller bottle and is much thicker than foundation. That's because you're not supposed to use very much. Only enough to cover little spots.

After you're done with your concealer, use any type of matching powder or bronzer that will help give you great color and seal in your foundation.

If applied correctly your face will still feel really, really light and clean and your skin will look great.

If you put the concealer before the foundation, it will rub off when you start to apply the foundation because they both have some oils in them no matter how much you try to let it dry. It will never fully dry because you have moisturizer on your face. But once you've applied everything you will set the liquids on your face with the powder.

so...moisturizer, foundation, concealer =)

*Tip*
Buying a foundation and concealer of the same brand will ensure a better matched combination.

Moisturize first ALWAYS!! This preps your skin and makes it smooth and ready for other applications. THEN use concealer to CONCEAL blemished and redness... after the concealer has set then use the foundation - think of it as a foundation for the rest of your make - up that way you can remember it goes on last.

My regimen:
Moisturizer
Concealer
Foundation
Powder
Blush
Bronzer
Eyeshadow
Eyeliner
Mascara
Lips

My skin comes out looking flawless this way - wish it were flawless without it all! :)

moisturizer, concealer, then foundation. but a little hint: use tinted moisturizer because, #1: its not as caky as foundation, #2: it moisturizes with giving a perfect finish and #3: you can skip a step ;)

First make sure you have cleaned your skin properly. Then use a toner to remove any dirt the cleanser might have left behind. Then I suggest a moisturizer with sunscreen in it, then concealer, foundation and followup with powder to set your makeup.
