I have been to 3 er drs. and 1 ob/gyn with the problem I am having and they all have given me different answers...some that make no sense whatsoever. I have had two c-sections and one abortion...since the abortion, which was 7 months ago, almost time I get my period i get extremely sick (fever, body aches, migrains, sharp pains in my uterus, chest pains, and other muscles cramps such as in my legs and arms)...this usually starts a day or two before my period. When I am not experiencing these symtoms, whenever I sneeze, lift something, cough, laugh or have a bowel movement i have extremely sharp pains in my uterus that last for an hour or so. When this is not happening i consitatly have pains, like cramping. Also, lately, i have had a discharge that is thick, creamy and white. This is beginning too be to much to deal with. I am always in pain and i dont know what to do or what is wrong with me. Do you by chance have any idea what could be the problem? or know of anyone who could help me?

Thank you for your time,

Try yet another doc and keep going till you get the help you need. You could have retained products of conception, pelvic inflammatory disease, endosalpingitis, endometritis (NOT the same as Endometriosis), painful fibrous adhesions, or any myriad of problems and issues. Surgical intervention might be warranted to determine what's actually going on and potentially treat anything as needed. Obviously meds aren't cutting it, nor are the docs "treating" you - and I use that word loosely! - so find someone who can intervene on your behalf and actually help you feel better. Good luck.

I do not know for sure what you have; however, you do need to go and see another gyne doctor. Get a referral from a friend or call the medical board or hospital to see who is top in the field.

When you call for your appointment make sure to ask to speak to the nurse first so that maybe they can get you in sooner. At this point, I think sooner is better than later.

It really sounds as if you have some kind of infection going on. It could be from anything including an incomplete abortion (I don't know who you used; however, if all of the placenta is not out you could get a horrible infection, which would give you the fever, pains, and a discharge).

Make sure to tell the nurse and the doctor EVERYTHING. In fact, it would be good if you would write it all down. Write down each date you went to what doctor and when all procedures were done. Write down when you first noticed these symptoms too.

I'm afraid going back to who did the abortion may not work out for you. He/she will not want to admit they did anything wrong and just tell you it's a vaginal infection or yeast infection (you don't usually get fevers with these).

You haven't used a tampon since the abortion, have you? If you have, could you have left it in by mistake and just forgotten about it? How about your birth control? If you use a condom, could it have come off and been left inside you? I know it sounds gross, but these things can happen. Many a gyne doc has found these items in the vagina when there were fevers and discharge.

You should have a doctor you can call and not be afraid to ask anything. He and his nurse should be accessible and answer any questions you have. Don't be afraid to tell them anything. They hear it all and will not be surprised about anything.

Make that call and good luck!

first i think that your estrogen is way to high- fevers, aches, migranes, uterine pain, chest pains, cramps, yeast.....all signs of estrogen overload..... get some natural progesterone cream...its the best kept secret in womens health. I use Happy pms cream. But any cream is fine...happy pms i think is the best cause it has no chemicals in it...also it is the cheapest i have seen. It is the cheapest on ebay. Otherwise you can order it from this site. http://www.zellersnaturalhealth.com/about.html

Also you probly have some damage to your reproductive system...i would rebuild it useing Dr. Christophers Hormonal Changease formula and Female Reproductive Formula. These are natural herbal remedies and are safe to use as long as you need to. Look at the links below and feel free to email me. It may take more than a month to feel completely better...i noticed effects in less than a month but most people feel dramaticly better in 3 months.

The possibilities are endless as to what you may have. My best advice to you is to find a different gynecologist or surgeon right away. You could have a hernia down there, or infection or who knows what else!

Demand to see a doctor right away!! Don't hesitate or wait any longer..and don't take any flack from any other doctor you have seen so far.

Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon!

I wish I could help but I have no idea. Except that you need to see someone now! Keep going to different Dr's. Make SURE they know the history that you stated here as well as your history of the different Dr's you have seen and all the different answers you have gotten.

It may take you a while but please, PLEASE keep going till you get an answer to your problem.

it sounds like you could have gotten an infection from the abortion. you need to go back to the doctor who gave you the abortion and tell them about the symptoms you have been experiencing. also when you go to other doctors about the pain make them aware of all of your medical history {i.e abortion}

It sounds like you either have an infection, adhesions, or both. Call your local Physician's association and ask for referral to their top man in Gynecology field.

Your symptoms sound a lot like PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) - but what are the answers that the doctors are giving you?
Here's a link on PID http://www.niaid.nih.gov/factsheets/stdpid.htm

possibilities:

1. uterine involution (inversion)
2. uterine atony (weakened womb)
3. incomplete abortion

i guessed your previous medical examiner have ordered an ultrasonogram to confirm their differential diagnosis.
