ok now people where does it stop.
People are suing the tobacco co. because they say that the tobacco industry held back important health risks to the dangers of smoking.Bullshit!!!!!
What people cant read the surgeons general warning on the pack of cigarettes there smoking? Maybe I should sue miller for the failed info they give on the dangers of drinking and that if i continue to drink my liver is going to take a ****. Or maybe i should sue the drug company that makres vicodin for not telling me of the risks of addiction or how it can desroy my liver as well. Our maybe I can sue them for the pain and suffering i am going through from the withdrawl that they dont mention.
You tell me.

That warning has been on cigarette packs since at least the 60's. If someone can't read, then they need to sue their school board because public education is available for everyone, so I believe that future such suits should be thrown out and free up our courts to deal with the illegals and other real priority issues.

OH MY GOD.. it's the year 2006... and for the past 30 years we have ALL known that smoking could give you cancer or kill you.. if you don't know that then you must have been living in a box 50 feet under the desert for the past 10 years. I am sick of people who smoke suing tobacco companies. YOU KNOW IT COULD KILL YOU BUT YOU DO IT ANYWAYS.. I think you should all go "you know where"
I smoke. I know it's bad, and I've tried to quit .. and am continuing to try.. and I'm telling you.. if I get cancer.. I'm going to know that it is because of my own stupidity.. not someone else.

No, warnings have been on packages for years~ Take responsibility for your health and If you started when you were under 18, this is sort of you delayed punishment. The world is not fair, but you have to make the right choices, otherwise we are living in a nanny state!

No, they shouldn't. I've been smoking for 10 yrs, I know if I keep doing it, eventually it'll kill me, but I do it anyway because I can. I don't think anyone should be able to sue over something that they couldve figured out if they had any common sense.

Since most attorneys have an affection for alcohol (which harms society far greater than tobacco) they will never file a suit against any alcohol beverage co.

No- everyone needs to take on a personal responsibility for their actions. That's just like when people try to sue McDonalds for making them fat- its pathetic!!

No I don't think they should. When you start smoking, its a choice you make and you should not be able to sue someone for your own stupidity.
