I love playing my stereo loud as well, and it makes a great massage if you have good bass. I also do it because I can't stand to hear my voice singing along. However, I turn it down when I'm at a red light or in a residential area. I have respect. I did find out that Awesome God from Rich Mullens is quite a powerful song and is great to turn up. I especially prefer Linkin Park, Slayer and Carman turned up to ear-bleeding levels. =)

What's worse is when they have the bass real loud but their system is crappy. Then it just sounds like a giant wet fart. Like PBBBBBTTTT Clap PBBBBBTTTTTT PBBBBTTTTTTTTT Clap.
You could hear it better and more clearly if you just turn it down a little and cut the bass a little bit.

Ok. Not all african americans blast their music. I find it very very racist to refer to us as 'they'. I blast my music because i like to feel the bass from the instrumentals and if you don't wanna hear it, then roll up your dam window... Thats y you have them. This is not going towards the person who asked the quest, just those who are acting like they don't play the music loud.

Why do people play rock in their car so loud? Dont act like people dont do that either. If its our car we'll do what we want,ok? If were outside and we want to play our music loud, we will because its public, and that would mean that your privacy is invading my public.

The same reason people play rock so loud in their car. IT's an ego thing.

They are idiots without respect for others. I believe that music is played at an inverse volume to intelligence ratio. The smartest people hear music playing in their minds.

They suffer from the fundamental delusion that they are cool and that they should broadcast this 'fact' to all and sundry.
Male Silver-back gorillas do exactly the same thing but don't get laughed at or called assholes because it is socially acceptable and rather more impressive in their culture.
