No, us up in Canada are just a smaller (population) version of the US with too much tolerance and not enough 'fight'...

Considering two facts: 1. The United States is older than Canada by a good 175 years, 2. The United States produces the entertainment, literature, financial capital and military stability for the continent, this question should be re-worded.
No, the US is making its own culture, it is Canada with the inferiority complex, so inwardly focused on selfish socialism that it has neither the resources, nor the will to focus outwardly on real-world problems like terrorism and political corruption around the world.
For the record, I am a Canadian citizen living in the United States.

coraliecowan posted that US is 175 years older than Canada...
...Sorry, perhaps you need to use http://en.wikipedia.org...
July 4, 1776, thirteen colonies declared their independence from England
July 1, 1867 British North American Act (Canada's Independence Day)
...making less than 91 years difference
I have agreed with those have said that Canada is too tolerant, not enough fight...
Someone brought up "Health Care"... don't even talk about health care in Canada, it doesn't exist unless you live near a major city... free (tax payer paid for) service is ONLY good when it meets the consumer's needs--something Canadian health care does not do...
As far as having an inferiority complex, no. The word inferior doesn't describe how Canadians and Canada think and feel... comparing the US and Canada is like comparing a muskmelon and a watermelon...
Muskmelon = smaller fruit with lots of pits (people)
Watermelon = bigger fruit with very few pits (people)
...both are tasty & refreshing but VERY different... doesn't mean one is better than the other, just different...
BTW I hold dual US/Can citizenship and live in Canada

Actually I think Canada is bigger then the USA if you look at land area. I don't think that the USA has an inferiority complex.

Thank God we're not. Any experience with the Legal or Medical system here, requiring quick relief, or self-defense thru our Military, truly makes you appreciate the USA. Your appalling lack of knowledge, as evidenced merely by the question, tells me, that YOU will NOT be bringing the potato salad to the MENSA picnic this summer!

Great grasp of geography, eh? Canada is considerably bigger on my map. I don't know where you come up with the inferiority complex idea.
