Guys, i'm the AT at my school, specifically the football team. How can I flirt while still haveing ya'll take me seriously as an athletic trainer? I have several guys in mind and I know i'm only going to be around them during football.

good point about having cake and eating it too. But I really like cake. I'm a student trainer (going to be a sophomore), and I know the coaches don't care as long as the guys can stay focused during the games and you aren't 'getting it on' on the sidelines.

Ok, OK, OK some of these answers just plain suck. K.C. needs some real advice from a real man. Take it from a formal athlete, at the same time that you are looking at them they are probily looking at you as well. If your pretty that is. The thing you have to remember here is this, guys talk, I mean they can't help it, they just do SO. Having said all that Pick ONE guy not a couple or a few just ONE. The one you like best. Give it a shot but go slow, what ever you do, don't sleep with him soon. Two reason, remember they talk, so if the whole thing is busted he's gonna tell everyone. If it works out he will respect you more. And when he's in the NFL making tons of money then you can divorce him and take it ALLLLLLLLLL!!!.

Sorry you can't have it both ways... While if you happen to pick up one of the team he *might* take you seriously, the rest of the team will not...
And beyond that the rest of the team may resent your guy and then you have an additional problem to solve which will likely only be solved by one of the two of you leaving the team...

Unless you want to be known as a crew sl*t you'd better re-think your strategy.
Don't mix pleasure with business even though you may have the opportunity. Wait for the off season to offer your special services. The team will thank you and the coaches won't get teed off...

look, take it from an athelete. while haveing a girl flirt w/ me during practice would be awsome, it would be awsome, it would also take my mind off the game. and that is something the coaches would get pissed at.
when a guy goes to football practices or games, his thoughts r all football. however, try talking to them after practice or game, if u absolutly have to talk to them.
and only pick one, or they'll get real jelous, instead of only a little

When word gets around that you're flirting with the players, all your "street-cred" will go down the tubes...if you want to be taken seriously, don't even go there...holla' at athletes in a sport you don't act as trainer for...

Don't !!! Any flirting is going to get mixed up with the amount of physical contact involved in your job. If you flirt with some, others might think you are flirting with them also. Wait until the season is over.

Pay personal attention to the ones you are interested in. to keep it up appearances make sure that it is in reference to your work with them. Help them with their workouts. Compliment them on their efforts and improvements. helping with difficult things is a good start. If they are doing stretches, assist them in getting deeper into it. Talk softly when up close so that they think you are only talking to them alone. Wearing clothes that show off your fitness is never missed by guys.

i dont know if its the best way to do things, you'd be better off working on those guys after football, most guys go in their thinking football, but hey if one of the guys you like, likes you then just being their, he'll notice you more and one thing could lead to another, but just be yourself

and why the fcuk cant u eat ur cake. if u do HAVE to do it u have to do it get to kno them on tha field but get flirt away from the field.
