I am giving this car to my son, not selling it. They say they have to have proof that I paid taxes on this car. I have licensed and registered it for two years, since I bouught it used.

So sell it to him for one dollar and write out a bill of sale with the vin # and make and model . I did that myself , it works

If i'm not mistaken your title comes with a transfer of ownership form. Just fill it out and sign it. Then bring it to the DMV

government issues, CA bill of sale will be required..
