Just click on your start menu (assuming you have a PC and not Mac) and look through your programs. The most common word processors are Microsoft Word, Word Perfect or Microsoft Works. You can also use wordpad if you have nothing else (it only can do the bare minimum.) You can most likely find a free trial copy of Microsoft Word online. Otherwise look at any store that sells software, or even garage sales or ebay. To copy and paste (I assume you mean text) just highlight whatever it is you want to copy by dragging your mouse over it, hold down "Control" and hit "C". This copies the text. Then go to the word processor and hold down "Control" and hit "V". This pastes the text. You can also highlight the text, right click on it and click copy and paste. Hope that answers it for you.

If you are running Windows, then you have a word processor. The word processor WordPad is build into Windows. To use it, click on the Start button, select All Programs, then Accessories. You will see Wordpad listed as one of the choices. Clicking Wordpad to start it. Wordpad is a very simple word porcessor with very limited features. You may decide you want to purchase a full featured word processor such as Microsft Word.

To copy and paste, find some text or a picture the you want to copy, whether in Wordpad, on a web site, or anywhere else.
Click at the beginning of the text or picture. hold down the mouse button and move to the end of the text or picture.
The text or picture should be highlighted. Release the mouse button.
Right-clicked on the highlighted text or picture, and select "Copy" from the menu that appears (or you may press crtl+c).
Move your mouse to where you want to paste the text or picture.
Right-click there and select "Paste" from the menu that appears (or press crtl+v).
The text or picture should appear.

A word processor is a program like Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect. I suppose that Wordpad, and even Notepad (that both come free as part of Windows) also count, but they have a lot fewer features than the others. Basically, it's a program that you can use to type letters, school reports, business reports and even brochures and newsletters. Or just use it to write yourself notes so you don't forget something.

There are a few ways to cut-and-paste. You can position your cursor at the beginning of something you want to paste, hold down your left mouse button, drag the cursor across the words (or picture) and highlight it. Then either right-click and select Copy from the menu that appears, or press your Ctrl key + your C key. To paste, either right click in the area you want to paste to and select Paste from the menu or press your Ctrl key + your V key. I may not have worded that in the most instructive way, but I hope it helps.

Windows has a free word processor if you don't have one of the common ones installed. Go to Programs, Accessories, Word Pad. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of MS Word, but it's easy to use and will do the trick. To copy, highlight the text you want and press C while holding down the control key. Go to the page in your word processor and place your cursor where you want the copied text. Press V while holding down the control key and your text will appear on the new page.

Good luck!!

If you have any application that is, or is similar to Microsoft Word, then you have a Word Processor. If you don't have one, you can purchase one at an electronics retailer like Best Buy, or just ask your friends for a CD that they have already. You can get it for free, and it's perfectly legal, however you don't get all the benefits of purchasing one. To copy and paste, select an item, right-click, select copy, then go to the location you want the selected item. After that, right click again, and select paste. Voila!

Microsoft Word is a word processing program. Microsoft Works also has a version of a word processing program. WordPerfect is another word processing program. You can go to Office Depot, Office Max, CompUSA, etc. to purchase a full version of any of those word processing programs if they are not on your computer. You can use the keyboard command ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste.

If you are running Windows you probably have Notepad at the very least. I is probably under accessories in your menu. To copy and paste you highlight what you want, hold down the control key and the letter 'c' at the same time- to paste, hold down control and the letter 'v' at the same time.

I used to work on a dos word processor called word perfect and it was superb. i don't like ms word as much. it's over smart and intrusive, and has a (deviant) mind of its own.
