Andy's games are somewhat interesting. But I suggest going to the U.S. Open to see ANDRE AGASSI AND HIS LAST U.S. OPEN. This is going to be his last, so I suggest you take the opportunity to see him in action while you still can. Forget about Andy for now.

Unfortunately Andy Roddick has not been the same mentally since he lost in the first round of the 2005 US Open. By his own admittance after last weekend's loss to Andy Murray, he has the strength and the stamina and the physical prowess but there is an unknown factor that is effecting his game.
Many tennis experts have said Roddick's preparation, agility, endurance level and overall court performance is amazing and absolutely he is doing everything right. However, mentally he has been totally zapped and this is effecting everything else.
I recommend you go to the US Open, Andy is a great tennis player and hopefully being on home soil will help alleviate past demons.

Like almost everybody else has already said, a lot of it does have to do with the mental aspect of his game, and losing confidence by falling to players ranked much lower than him.
Because of that, other players just aren't afraid of him anymore. They know his game and that they know that he's beatable.
I think he needs to ditch his brother as coach and find somebody else.
Go to the Open anyway!

Go to the US Open anyway. Andy's a decent player, but everyone else on the tour has caught up to him. His one weapon was his serve, and people know how to return that now. Unless he starts seriously working on his game, his ranking's just going to drop.

Andy, although incredibly talented, lacks the confidence & mental toughness of a champion. He needs to beleive in himself & learn to stay dialed-in on HIS game in the matches.

He just doesn't have what it takes. There will always be someone better than him. You should still go to the US Open and have fun.
