My best friend Shelby is really mad at me because we got in a fight at my friend's going-away party and I was staying clear of her bacause I didn't want to fight (we've been best friends for six years), and yesterday we played Truth or Dare (we were actually getting along) and she asked me why I have been such a jerk, and I answered by what I have told you. (That is not the entire reason, though.) The real reason is that I had my other best friend, Ashley spend the night, and we wrote each other notes that had secrets in them, and Shelby read them, even though I asked her not to (which I belived she'd respect my wishes, so she lost a LOT of my trust). I didn't tell her that reason though. Now she's even more mad at me and I tried calling her right when I got home to appologize for everything and all but she wouldn't accept it. Id rather DIE than let my best friend just disappear so suddenly. We have a dance performance tomorrow but I don't know how I will get through it now any advice

The notes weren't about Shelby, but about Ashley's crushes and stuff, so now I feel like I've betrayed Ashley by Shelby reading them. Also, I keep writing her notes and emailing her, but she hasn't answered the emails, and she doesn't even read the notes. HELP! I don't know what to do!
I old her what the notes were about, and told her that was why she couldn't read them. Also, when I called her, she flipped. I even stand up for her against my other friends when they said she sucks at dancing (wich she rocks). Plus, Ashley and her don't like each other--AT ALL.

She's my only REAL friend, even though Ashley is my best friend, and I keep appologizing because I feel that that's the only way we'll meake up for this fight.

I won't let her go. I REFUSE to. I want to be friends again by tomorrow's dance performance--I know, practically inpossible, but if I can accomplich this, I know we will be friends forever.

I think you just need to be open with your friend. Tell her why you are hurt, and that you are sorry for hurting her in any way. Just be honest and tell her why you're hurt. Don't accuse her of anything, that will make things worse. Honesty really is the best policy here. Good luck!

You know, I can only read about 3 lines before my mind goes numb. So I perused and saw Shelby and Ashley. Here's the scoop, they are lesbians and in love. Leave them alone, they want to get married, so let them. Be best friends with both of them. Next time, cut it down to 3 lines.

well sounds like you have a couple jealous and childish friends.. i would not worry about it.. actually if they are real friends they will forgive you and go on from there...and you have apologised and i do not know what else you can do.. just be nice around them and if they do not want to talk to you act like it does not bother you at all...she should not of read the notes you asked her not to in the first place...and yes she should of respected your wishes...but you will have other friends and some in this life are real friends and some are just acquaintances...and if you are really down they are not there to help you.. if i really liked my friend which i have one i really do... i would not do anything to hurt her....and i try to help her all i can... none of us are perfect and if she did something to me that upset me.,, which she has, but there is no man going to tear our friendship up.. and if they are real friends she will forgive you... and you should not stress.. over any of it...good luck and hope all goes well at your dance performance tomorrow.....

Call her up and ask if you two can talk. Then just tell it like it is. Tell her how you feel -how you were hurt by her not respecting your wishes. Be honest. At least you will know where you stand!

YOU NEED TO MAKE A DECISION... WHO'S HOLDING YOU BACK? IT SOUNDS LIKE SHELBY JUST HAS A LITTLE BIT OF JEALOUSY IN HER. CONFRONT HER AND IF SHE'S STILL SOUR ABOUT IT, GIVE HER TIME TO COOL OFF.
