A good cheat is to enter : "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" - with the spaces and without speech marks and the click on a SIm, then Spawn....then more....then Badge Juicer. Once you have clicked on it a little boat should appear on the floor.
The options to use are: Spawn a reporter and Set Badge level to bronze silver or gold.
