This is to the idiot above: First of all why did you need to mention that Italy has only won three cups, all I know is it is 2 more than Frecnhies and about to be 1 more. :)
And my answer is: BUFFON
And by the way MVP has not been given to a player from the losing team ever that I can recall. Therefore it wil be BUFFON not Zidane, since although ZIDANE has been great, he will be heading home without another trophy.

Win or lose, Zidane. This guy carried and willed France into the finals. If anyone outside of France said that this team would be in the final,you would laugh at them. Yet, there they are. Zidane is the reason.A living legend.

Buffon was good but I think I could have played in Italy's goal and only let 2-3 goals in, their defense is GREAT.
