So far I have a 32valve V8 several transmissions to chose from and lots of tools and equipment.
I'm thinking these specs are a good start:
Fuel injected Turbo engine(Turbo's have full bypass so they can be turned off for fuel efficiency)
All wheel drive
All wheel independent suspension
Variable geometry aerodynamic body

I me very well versed in propulsion and transportation technology. In college I'm majoring in Art and Engineering. I'm very outside the box in thought.
Depending on how this question goes I will decide whether or not to make a website for the project.

The Nissan 350Z is a very nice car though governed at 155mph also they have had a few issues with tire wear due to the suspension geometry design. I did like the one at the auto show, nice fitting seats even for me at 6 foot

The GX3 concept reminds me of the recumbent tricycles I've built. The GX3 is considerd motorcycle I guess I should add that all ideas have to have 4 to 6 wheels. Thanks though.

I designed a system of water tanks for offloading with my truck that used bulge pumps and tanks to change the center of gravity of the truck I had not thought about changing the center of gravity because I could alter the aerodynamics of the car for turns. But it will be explored in greater detail.

A small matter, but I think an elegant one: How about a Nitrous Oxide system that clicks on for just a second or two when you first slam the pedal to the floor. This would get you through the intersection before the turbo spins up and eliminate turbo lag. And no one else would have it.

As far as a "sports car", VW had it right with the GX3 concept car. Lightweight, RWD, highly tuned suspension, no frills. Once you start adding to that formula you get something else, like a Gran Touring, or just a another bloated marketing mobile.

remove the v8 and put in a 3r rotary motor, have the ability to shift weight to different points in the car, 4 wheel steering with floating upper a arms, so as the car goes through a Conner the tire turns and rolls in 2 axis.
