i live in quincy ill. it's a a small city only abot 55,000 give or take. but here lately they have been taering down alot of the historical buildings in the town. like the old court house that was built in the early 1800's was tore down to build a gas station. and an old plantion style house was tore down. just so the the dumb golf course could build nine more holes. and they are starting to tear down allot of the river front property that was used to unload steam boats. and one house is where jooseph smith stayed when he crossed over from missori before he went to navoo. i don't know what the historic society is doing. they seam more interrested in saving any thing that has joghn woods name on it. so is there any thing i could do to start saving these old buildings from the wrecking ball? i'm all for progress in this town but not at the price of our land marks to do it.
