Oh absolutely!! It is always fun to go with friends but if you can't find anyone, go!! It is not like you can carry on a conversation inside the theater. Have fun, be yourself!

Yes, but only during a time when I knew there wasn't going to be a big crowd. If I had a weekday off, I would go see a movie by myself, I've done that lots of times and been the only one in the theater. If it was a Saturday night, and I didn't have a date, no way.

Sure, there is nothing wrong with it. If you're in the mood to see a movie and can't find anyone to see it with you, go yourself. Needing to rely on other people all the time is not my way of doing things.

I have done this couple times. It is relaxing!! Mainly Fridays, the kids are in school, the Hubby working, so I go and watch whatever I feel like. Do not have to be concerned about the rating for the kids, I do not have to hear my husband complaining it is a Chick movie. I go and enjoy myself plus the candy is all mine...
I watched:
13 Blocks
Take the Lead
Failure to Launch
Stick it
And couple other Flicks...

All the time, I'm good company for myself. I also enjoy taking myself out to dinner. When I want a good meal cooked by some one else I go and get one and enjoy it. What is the big thing about going to a movie? You sit in the dark any way. I don't think most people think it is pitiful- It takes a confident, happy person. :)

Sure, why not? It's usually more fun going with someone, but if I really want to see a movie and none of my friends do, I'll go alone. And it's a great way to meet someone new who likes the kind of movies you do.

Sure - no reason not to. I've done it before, a couple times. Told all my friends how good it was, and we all went to see it. A "chick flick" that some people wouldn't want to see is another good one to see by yourself - better than having the person next to you groaning the entire time.

Yep, why hold out when your friends, associates, cousins bail out or resign on you. Most of the times, when I go with others they talk during the movies. Most of the times, the cheap bums don't have money. Most of the times, they don't have the time. Most of the times, they have other plans. Sure I'll go by myself. I've done it in the past. One time I was the ONLY patron in the theatre. Juriassic Park III. I sat in the middle row, middle column. ****** my legs on the side seat, front seat. I got in free from some promotion from Frito-Lay.

Yeah it's the best way to go if you really want to watch the movie. When you go with other people they talk the whole time.

No. i have never been to the cinema on my own. try and go with a group of mates or family. People always look at the loaner at the cinema, while waiting for the movie to start.
