i dom't know the schematic of this amp .. don't even know if it is valve or solid state but either way dc is involved. .. smoothing capacitors in the power supply have probably gone west allowing ac ripple to get through to the audio.. not an expensive fix fortunately.

just with your bass or with other people's basses? check that first. If just with yours, get inside the bass.
