There is only one true #45 :)
The young guns of today (Wade and Bron-Bron) are no doubt terrific athletes and will only continue to get better and earn rings. But for complete domination of his time, championship rings, and the desire to take every challenge head-on in trying to crush his competitors and break their spirits, Jordan was the king and forever shall be.
You can thank the media for this "next Jordan" talk and coronation for "King" James (who is not the king since he has yet to ascend to the top of his profession) and D-Wade as the Air Apparent. But make no mistake - there will only be one Jordan in this generation - a phenomenal talent that will not be seen for decades to come.

HEEEEeeeeeeeellllllllllll NOOOoooo never. Well thier be better atheletes statiscaly wise. Ofcourse, recordsa re meant to be broklen and athletes are getting even more talented evry year, But jordan was more than a player. He was a universal icon. Even if uve never seen a basektball in ur life u know who jordan was. He chnaged the game both on the court and product wise. jordan shoes still sell like hot cakes. I know trust me had to wait in line to grab me the VIIs (7s) the other day. They sold out that same day. i see ppl comparing players all da time. carter hill hardaway lebron and aint none of them due jack to even come close to the legend not even statisticaly wise. The only player whose actually gone far is d wade and ppl are till saying ooh lebron the next jordan. Man lebron is a forward ppl. Lebron will jsut be lebron when its said and done. Maybe well be like hey whose gonna be da next lebron someday MAYBE, but most probably dat wont happen, Im pretty sure if we remember any player ill probably be d wade. he already won a chmapionship and actually scored more points then jordan. So statiscaly he got jordan thier in da finals, only time will tell, but u cant rush these things. The "next jordan" if any will sutu show up one day jsut like jordan did. Hell come out of nowhere prob with sum overhyped player like lebron and jsut amaze ppl when out of nowhere u ee this kid doing great things lol sounds more like wut d wade is doing now. I guess u can mka ea case of kobe cuz hes a scoring machine but oppl hate hes ***. Jordan was feared loved and respected by all. When her wus playing in the league he dominated the NBA both offenseliy and defensily ebing the best of both. Man nobdoy could guard him. Nobody could score against him. So those are sum big shoes to fill. Dont wait ppl jsut let it happen. Im sure all u cleveland natives are pretty much assumsing lebron is it but cmon he aint even gone to da conference finals yet. and dun gib me dat bs about havin no talent. If u in the NBA itz cuz u can plan da game. And last time i checked the big Z is an allstar. Stop rippin on the big Zs game. Lebron actually amkes others think badly of him. Nuttin in the leagyue is a sure thing. We dont know if lebron will win a chmapionship. Ppl just assume too damn much. Did robsin win withought duncan. Did barkley ewing malone ever get a ring. hell no they didnt and they were sum of the best of all time. So untill i see it happen i aint a witness to jack sh*t exepct another overated over hyped player. Letz jsut sit back and let things fall into place.

No. I don't believe there will ever be another Michael Jordan. Jordan brought a whole new view of the NBA to the public. He had style and class. He was amazing. There may be someone to impact the NBA in the future. But no one will ever be like Jordan.

no. there will only be one. but there will be competion for who was the greatest player ever. i hope soon. biased opinions just say there favorite player like lebron who hasnt even reached legend status. hopefully in the next 15-20 years or so unbiased opinions can say lebron or dwayne or mj or whatever the case may be.

No. Michael Jordan once said in a never before heard interview that nobody will ever be as good as him and that he'd personally see to it that their legs were broken before someone took away his glory. In fact, there was something mentioned along the lines during the interview that "Oak and the boyz will make sure my legacy stays intact..." Oak being Charles Oakley...

never again...there will be other greats, but no more jordan...people you gotta leave the guys legacy at peace...it is irreplacable and having new young phenoms being compared to him is a disgrace until they can accomplish as much he did or exceed him, not just in terms of on court accomplishments but the adversity and media attention he created for the NBA
