Well, if you are barely pregnant, then your belly won't be getting big yet, unless this is not your first pregnancy. What other symptoms are you having?
If you are really worried about it, go get a blood test. They are more accurate then a home test and will show lower levels of hormones then the home tests will.
If all else fails, call your doctor. They will be able to tell for sure if you are pregnant or not.

Go to the Health Dept. and have them test you for free, BUT only if your period is late by 2 weeks. If your period is late then go, if not then you tested too early. Rule of thumb is, Test only after the day of your missed period. You do know your cycle don't you? And no it's not every 28 days. Your cycle could be from 22-35 days long. Also you need to learn how to know your cycle. GET THIS BOOK!!!!! READ IT!!!! IT WILL SAVE YOUR BUTT!!!!!
(Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by: Toni Weschler)
This book will teach you how to get pregnant or keep from getting pregnant. It is a must read for any woman and they should teach this in sex edu. instead of the bull they teach now.
Good Luck

What symptoms? How far past ovulation did you take your test?
If you tested too soon, or if the test was expired, then you could have a false negative.
Most likely, though, you could have a cyst or something causing the bloating belly. See your doctor right away!

I am going through the same thing. Are you having pregnancy symptoms? When was your last period.? The test could probably be a false negative.

You need to see a doctor. They can determine whether or not you are truly pregnant; home tests aren't that accurate. If you don't want to see a family doctor, try to see a doctor at a free or low cost clinic and they can provide you with everything you need to know.

In any case, you need to see a doctor. There are certain tumors that can expand your stomach, and certain conditions can make you bloat in a way that looks like a pregnancy. A doctor will know for help you know for sure, whatever it is.

Could be what's called a teratoma, which is a mass that grows and masks the signs of pregnancy. When it is removed, it has human tissue, hair, and teeth...but was never really a baby.
