it is constantly getting scratched and smudged whenever i touch it! i keep good care of it, but it just gets to be that way eventually! how can i get smudges off and keep it clean??

I don't think u can get it off, but u can buy an ipod nano protector for $15 at a radioshack store so it can be protected. (They have the best ones.)

Get the invisible shield from shieldzone.com for sure. It's kind of hard to apply but works great once you have it on and you can't even tell that there is anything on your nano, much better than covering it with a case. You can even put it in the same pocket as your keys and it will be fine. Get the full body wrap. If you need to remove scratches first get the applesauce polish too. They have shields for everything, watch the demo video on their website.

get a protective case....mine's leather and it's still as good as new.
