Hey, Ive heard a bit about the Blair Witch Project from all my mates, is this worth watching or is it just over rated??

Very much over-rated. Its mostly improv - not much script, which means there is a lot of arguing. Its basically people just getting freaked out and arguing and then getting lost because they are idiots.
Probably the best horror film out there is The Exorcist. Not any of the sequels or prequels... the original with Linda Blair.

It's slightly over rated but I have watched it three times and it really is a great movie. There's no reason not to watch it! Also try watching it in the dark, it's so scary!

Everyone has their own idea if it was good or over rated.. I say watch and make up your own mind.
I liked the Movie but I like all kinds and some that people think are bad.

Imagine watching a three people run through the forest with a hand held camera, ocasionally adding in a "scary" hard to see severed finger or pile of sticks.
All it gave me was motion sickness

It has to be one of the top 3 SHITE films i have ever watched
the other two were Bad Lieutenant and Spiderman
the only films i've ever had to turn off before the end and do something more interesting like watching paint dry

I think you should watch it to make up your own mind, however if you are under 18 then it is not for you. It has a brilliant start, tense, claustrophobic and threatening, but I found the ending to be a big disappointment.

Yes, watch it just so you can say you've seen it...then go hiking!!!
Just don't watch Blair Witch 2. That one sucked major ***.
