Yes!!!! I have had tooooooooooo many guys cheat on me--while we were dating and my ex husband cheating almost the whole 20 years we were together. If you have ever been thru this, then you know how bad it hurts you and how much you want the other person to pay for what they have done, but the law won't do anything to help you unless you have been beaten up. So, what are u supposed to do? I would have LOVED it if I could have had my ex arrested for cheating! He got away with it for many, many years (which I found out about the rest of them after we divorced). He got to do what he wanted, for how long he wanted, and still does. Thank goodness I am not with that loser anymore!

adultery is a criminal offense, but rarely, if ever is it prosecuted...there are many other things for law enforcement and local governments to deal with, arresting, prosecuting and jailing adulterers shouldn't even be on the list...

Depending on what state you live in, it is a crime. There are many states with laws against adultery. These laws are old and they aren't upheld anymore. You would be surprised to see just how many things are against the law, but go without punishment.

Honestly, it would be difficult and almost pointless...first you have to catch them and then if you did then you'd have to punish them...which means half the US would be criminals...
