Tenth grade english is mostly analyzing literature. It's not difficult at all. I PROMISE that if you have any trouble at all, you'll find the answers at www.sparknotes.com.
I never read any of the books sophomore year, and I always had an A. But I don't suggest this, because I'm a big reader but I was being lazy and missed out on some good stuff!!

It all depends on what school you attend to. When I was in grade 10 english, we were introduced to a little bit more information about Shakespeare. We also studied a little bit about Media Studies. What I found with grade 10 english was that it was grade 9 english continued, but it was a little bit more advanced.

Different curriculum for different countries, states, provinces etc.
Any specific question??
My daughter just completed Grade 10 English (Enriched) in Ontario, Canada. They studied "The Diary of Anne Frank", Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". They wrote monologues, created booklets, wrote sonnets. In addition, they had to select and read a novel and do various projects related to it.
As far as I can see, they did not learn any advanced grammar, but they make you write "you" instead of "u"...lol
Hope that helps. Don't be nervous.

One of the things they teach in tenth grade English class is to proof read what you have written. Your question has many grammar and spelling mistakes.
Assuming you go to school in the USA, you will probably read novels and write about them. They will either be written by American or British authors. You need to demonstrate you understand the full meaning of each story.

Wow........so long ago.
When I took sophmore english, the class read a book together and mostly read about greek mythology. I did my fisrt power point project in that class. Don't recall writing any papers until my junior year.
