2004 was $140 on directv for the whole tournament. Cable was only offering it by the day for $40/day, for this reason I switched to satellite. 2000 was also PPV. 1996 was on espn, I guess it wasn't profitable for them. If I had to guess I don't think they will in 2008 and we soccer fans are going to have to ante up the $ for PPV. I think it's a better tournament than the World Cup.

Move to Canada !!!

We got every game live on regular (basic) cable TV. Just like this year World Cup. Plus the final game is shown on a station that anyone who has a tv can receive with any antena ( simple wire connected to a tv ) So any one can watch it for free.

Not bad for being Canadian EH !!!

Not unless ESPN2 decides to cover it, they have not covered it thus far. You will have to get a satellite dish and pay for that specific European sports channel. You can get a monthly contract or pay per day.

I dont know if they will show it. They seem to not think Football is that important. And yes it is FOOTBALL, the game that is actually played with your foot not just started with it.
American Football should be called Rugby with pads.
