No, as much as it annoyed me that Red Rooney got the red card and got sent off, Ronaldo plays for Portugal and by right, he was doing what he can to support his team mates and if he saw any wrong doing, then he has the right to protest the way he did. Unfortunately the way he did it, did not in any way indear him to the public, especially after the smirk he gave to the Portuguese bench. It was a bit tacky but this little incident sadly won't stop him from doing it again in the future. Besides I honestly don't think players really care what reputation they have as long as they get a chance to play to win!!!

However on the field it will be a different matter as everyone witnessed the Portuguese antics did not go unnoticed by the referee during the game against France, they merely were not buying into the fake falls!!

I don't think Ronaldo will play in England again. Whatever he and Rooney say publicly, I doubt Rooney will be happy with Ronaldo and the other English players at Man Utd won't exactly be happy with him either.

Even the French fans were booing him like crazy for his actions- his diving in THAT game did his repuation no favours. He tried to cheat in order to win, not the first time he's done that either.

No, he will get a few boos in the begining, and the Manchester United's Manager will make sure to present the image that Ronald and Rooney are still friends

Everyone hated him before that incident, for being such a cocky, arrogant, cheating bast.

The amount the portugal players dived irrtated me, Ronaldo takes it to another level.

No because the referee after making that farce in the red card defended him (as if he was his son)

That's why the french booed him, as they knew that c ronaldo is a dirty cheating scum

nope, he was just looking out for his team, the one who can get a ruined reputation is Rooney for being so childish.

Yes especially if he decides to keep playing in England. I can see him having a moments peace in the UK.I don't think it was all his fault but he will have to play a price.
