Wow....that has to be a rip on the heart. but look at this...being w/ him for 7 years and no marriage should give some kind of clue right there. This may be more of a blessing than you realize. You should also be proud of yourself for exiting an abusive relationship that could have worsened as time went on. As for "getting over it"...I think "getting thru it" will be more like it for now. Just take a "time out" for yourself and go to a quiet place...close your eyes and pray to our Lord. He knows everything including the comforting your heart needs right now..and the direction and wisdom you need. Invite the Lord into your heart and let Him be your stregth and shield, your deliverer, your fortress in storms, and your comfort in times of sorrow.
Tomorrow you'll awake...say a good morning prayer, ask the Lord to go ahead of you...and bless all that you do and ask for favor w/ people you meet...and go on...one day at a time. Take heart friend...as the good book says...."Joy comes in the morning"...

he is either starting a psychotic break or he is seeing someone else or thinking of seeing some one else he is showing signs that he wants you to break up with him by doing something so out of left field that you would def leave him

ask him does he want to break up and if he does want to or even if you have just had enough of the ups and downs you should tell him not to call you for 2 weeks im thinking after 2 weeks he will feel its long enough and move on i hope you can do the same

I know it'll be hard, but the best way to move on from a breakup is to find someone else. Don't jump into anything serious right away, but just go out and enjoy yourself, have fun with someone besides your ex.

SORRY TO HEAR THAT. IT WONT BE EASY BECAUSE I MET MY BF IN HIGH SCHOOL AND WE'RE HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS, BUT WE'VE ONLY BEEN TOGETHER FOR 3 YEARS AND I CAN'T IMAGINE LIFE WITHOUT HIM. I GUESS THE BEST ADVICE WOULD BE TO NOT RUSH N2 A NEW RELATIONSHIP KUZ YOU THINK IT WILL HELP YOU GET OVER HIM AND DON'T THINK THERE'S A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME FOR YOU TO LET HIM GO BECAUSE IT VARIES. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU FIND THE ANSWERS AND SUPPORT THAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR :o)

I have two words of advice, both from my wife.

First, what he says doesn't really matter. It's what he does. "When a man SHOWS you who he truly is, even once, believe him."

Second, "The best way to get over a man is to get under another."

Both a bit blunt, but both very true.

Move far away.
That helped me. No mutual friends to say "where's so and so" and no painful memories of places you walk by.

Just new, strong memories to build a new, strong you.

hummm. 7 yrs is a long time , if you could do 7 , then you can do it , dont give up , all it takes is communication ,, tell him what you want and ask him wat he wants , put it together , and make it one , , it helps , try to sit down often and talk out ur differences not argue it , there is a diff . btw arguing and talking ,.////// try that ..........talk ,!!

i know it's hard, but you do have to tell him. that it's not working out, it's time to move on. baby girl, he might be playing game or you actually see his real personality. but for the best thing for yourself. move on. i don't think you like to be treated like that.
