I read my paper cover to cover. I want to learn. I want to be informed of any international situation that may have an effect on me. I read the local sections to be informed of all that is happening in my immediate area so that I can vote on representatives and be aware of any problems that may be starting. Read national to see what Bush has done to make the world a little angrier at us.
And - I read the comics - for a good laugh!

I read our local paper on line for both local and world news. Then I go to the important things like sports and the comics.

I'm 59 and have been reading since I was three years old...have been reading the local news daily. Incidentally, Steven Green, the former soldier who allegedly participated in the rape and murder of an Iraqui girl, will be tried in Paducah, Kentucky....news media from around the world will descend on Paducah, which is where I am from.

No. I do watch the news sometimes, and read news and blogs online to get information. I also subscribe to online newsletters too. But every once in a while, I do get the newspaper and spend an hour (or two, if there's good material) reading it.
