hmm.. not sure wat kind of league this is but i'll just go with the basics .. i like the starting pitching .. real nice reliever in Ryan ..
drop Varitek .. theres got to be a batter catcher in free angency .. with all those hiiters u dont hve much power .. really just Ortiz . and some from Jones and Ensberg .. your pitching is superb ..
i say u make a big trade to try to get some more power in that line up .. like i said not sure what league this is but , u could probably get just about any bat you want with Zambrano..
well good luck

Trust me on this! I've fielded a FIRST PLACE fantasy baseball team the past 5 years.

1) Adrian Beltre has got to go! Replace him with Lowell or Zimmerman from the UTIL spot and find yourself a new UTIL. Here are some guys that might be available (Dan Uggla, Curtis Granderson or Mark DeRosa (best bet)).

2) Get rid of Juan Rivera ASAP! Replace him with another LF. Here are some guys that might be available ( Jacque Jones (best bet), Raul Ibanez, Marcus Thames or Coco Crisp).

3) You need more starting pitchers! Get new closers! Get rid of Jeff Francis. He'll only wreck your team playing at Coors Field. Also, get rid of Eddie Guardado for now and be sure to pick him up when he gets the closer job again. Saito and also be gone with Danys Baez as the closer.

4) Here are some starting pitchers you can probably pick up. (Jered Weaver, Gil Meche, Jon Lester, Vicente Padilla, Mark Prior, Matt Morris (best bet), or A.J. Burnett)

5) Here are some closers that might be available to replace your other guys. (Todd Coffey, J.J. Putz, Mike Gonzalez, Danys Baez, Ken Ray, Jorge Julio (best bet) or Anikori Otsuka)

Your team is pretty bad. Use J. Peavy and C. Young to get maybe a better IF, LF, and RP. I'd give up on one stat because in your position, you can't fix everything in your team. I'd give up on SP for you. Drop J. Rivera, maybe R. Sexson too. But I'd use R. Sexson as trade bait.
I think you will end up somewhere at the bottom of your team.

PS the italia guy is unrealistic

How about trading D. Bush with Mike Mussina? Mike's strikeout rate is super good. I used him in my Fantasy lineup this season and he always gives me an extra inch of strikeout count.

move Zimmerman to 3B, dump Beltre and try to pick up anybody halfway descent like DeJesus for the empty utl. spot. Dump Saito and see if Zumaya is available

Most of your players are having a mediocre season. Sexson is way off, Kearns is not much of a help, your pitching is not too strong. It seems to me you will end up near the bottom of your league.
