Ahem, based on that article, I can say that New York is NOT the most polite city...

There really is NO polite city, if someone says that their is a "polite city" then it is merely their own opinion.

That said, to answer your second question, if the US media wants to make their country look good, there not going to spill "all the beans" to people, if they did, they wouldn't be so biased, then would they?

Think about it, they're trying to feed you mindless hogwash about our president and about EVERYTHING basically and then they expect us to suck it all up and agree with them. They do this because they do not want to risk letting the real truth behind "Democracy" out, which is sadly this:

We're ruled by a bunch of money-thieving, conniving, dumbies.

I hope that helped ya'! : )

The U.S. media is biased because of two reasons: fear and money. Fear, because they are afraid to speak and show the truth because of the backlash they will receive from the powers that be (usually the government). Money, because they don't want to lose the millions they receive from sponsorship from companies that most likely lobby the government. Viscious circle? Damn right. "We the people...." is a joke anymore. First Amendment rights are only for the fortunate few. The rest of us are at risk. We no longer live in a true democracy or republic. We live simply in a country that is run by the wealthy and those that are best at hiding the truth. Why? Because they are in power and they do not want to share it with "We the people..."

Not liberal here... New yorkers are always in a rush toi get somewhere... I'm not quite so sure about politeness- people will walk into you without apologizing in a second! People need to slow down..

I love NY anyway.

Is this the same organization that once proclaimed Pittsburgh to be the best place to live in the United States? (The mayor of Pittsburgh at the time, upon being informed of this, responded "What were they on?").

Media-by nature -is always biased. You can't tell the truth without feeling. I have Master's in journalism education. Bias is not the problem-deceit is.

The majority of New Yorker's are mentally ill liberals. Liberalism is a mental disorder.
