I have my friend's ip address , is there any way that i could try to break into his computer through the internet? please list any steps of you know .

I think you are some stupid kid who just learned about ip addresses. You only want to "hack"(if you could call it that) into your friends computer to show him how smart you are. well you're not , your stupid. Don't ask these questions. If you want to break the law, then find out how to yourself.

Click Start, then Help & Support, find the option to offer support to another computer, type the IP address and call your mate - ask him to allow you to allow support on his PC. Next, on your monitor you'll see his screen. Now ask him to give control to you too.
That's the only possible way - the illegal ways are possible too but why explain them to some doss gadge on a forum?
