I never had any social life in the first place so there was nothing to ruin.

Sad, but true, the Internet is my social life because this is how I keep in touch with my friends and family. It's not all bad. Some of my family live three thousand miles away! The other part of my life is going to work, so I am not a complete recluse.

i think i can ruin my life by using the internet not visa versa. the problem is that internet offers u a different alternative for socializing , chat rooms, msngers...etc . which makes u able to be so Picky about friends which is an atractive advangtage, u dont have to smile for compliments all u do is to use a smiley face , if u dont like someone u can block him and he is gone. internet offers a real better social life but an unreal one. the easiest way to fix this problem is to meet ur online friends and to start ur social life with them.

Nah. I work 50+ hours a week...that ruins my social life. SO to waste some time while I am here I go online.

its not that fact,but in real sense in today's real living life personalities prefer internet not only b'cos it is there interest 4 internet,but they are trying to make things better and better to improve the condition of our country.so i don't think internet ruin the social life.

My social life pertains to work, currently moving, and the occasional visit with friends.....not much social life, so I guess not.

No, I don't think so. Emails and myspace, for example, make it easier to keep in contact with far-flung friends and family. And maybe sometimes wikipedia really is more interesting than them anyway.

No, people come first, computor last. As a stay at home mom, I often have time to get on here, I have one child in a wheel chair.
