well i don't think i'll ever be in space. so the whole head exploding thing wouldn't really apply to me. so i guess i would pick the lava. but why would anyone volenterrily jump into a firey pit of lava? I'd rather be pushed.

I'm going with fiery pit of lava. Sounds cool. Ok, not "cool" as in cold but, well, better than my head exploding. (And probably alot easier for the survivors to clean up, too.)

All are such brutal ways to die! I would probably choose to have my head explode. It is quick and possibly painless. With the other, I would suffer so much. If you suffocate in space, your lungs would explode, also...I am just now thinking about that....painful...and you are not guaranteed to die quickly. Jumping in hot lava is burning yourself alive! That has to be painful!!!! Since they both are not the greatest of ways to go out, I will go out with a "bang"! Let my head explode in space!!!

Both would be pretty quick but if I had to choose I would say the lava. Although burning alive and suffocating are my two biggest fears of dying.

i think i'll go with the lava -- the fastes way to die.
with the head exploding -- i don't think any heads will explode in like 2 seconds. (that didn't sound good)
suffocate in space -- you have to go through the painful agony of not breathing, so it's still slower.
with lava -- you melt in seconds. i'll dive head first so it melts my head first, so that my brain will no longer function.

I would choose space. You'd have a great view as you go. Lava is molten rock & would be very quick (much quicker than space), but I just can't get myself around the whole 'burning to death' concept. I always thought that would be one of the worst ways to go.
