i used to have a file for a garmin gps-v that i downloaded from a link on a message board about the philippines. unfortunately i no longer have that gps unit or file and dont remember which message board.

the file did not contain every little road but had the major routes through the city. (sorry, i mean wandering around inside the city. it seems nothing actually goes "through" the city).

just letting you know there is something out there but unfortunately i dont know exactly where.

Ha ha he hahaha ! A street map of Manila ! Have you been to Manila ? Even people that were born there have no idea of what the streets names are, if they have names. There are some , like Roxas Blvd that you can find but there are thousands of street and alleys and trails that are un mapped and unnamed. Every time I get in a taxi in Manila the driver does not know where the place is that I want to go. I have had several get lost and I would get out and leave them sitting there wondering how to get back home.

Good luck with that. The maps that you can buy in the book stores are a joke when you compare them to the real streets. I've have been there a few times and I have NEVER found a decent map. I love and collect maps and believe me, you won't find one.
