yes it is .. im a londoner .. and used to putting heaps of bubble bath in my tub ... went to edinburgh ... put the same amount in ... and was in bubble kingdom !!! Was delightful tho ... !!

As an old resident, of Edinburgh, born and raised and now living in California, I can attest to it being a soft water area. That's why they have so many breweries and distilleries, there.
So enjoy that privilege, as we aren't that lucky elsewhere.
