depends upon the child. usually 15 or so..but it all depends upon the child. Is the child easily lead by peer pressure? Is the child an A student with good social skills and common sense.
I would think at 15 if the child is all of the above or close a parent would feel confident enough that their child could handle themselves in almost any situation away from their supervision.

Depends on where they are hanging out. They would go hang out at friends houses when they were in elementary school. 13 to 14 when they could go somewhere alone with their friends and it really depended where. Now they are 15 and 17 and I need to know where they are going, how they are getting there, and what their plans are. No plan, no go.

Depends on where they are hanging out. I say 13 is a good age to start hanging out. Like going to the mall alone with out supervision, or going to teen only events or clubs.
