Why if most of people it wants to live peacefully, we cannot make ofthis world a place better?

In earth's history there has been very little time of peace. As the world becomes more populated, and people become more greedy, there has been more and more unrest and war.
"Most people" do not control earth ; only a few people do. If "most people" ruled the earth, there would be no hunger in Africa, no disease in India, no poverty in the USA, no war in the Middle East, and no missiles in N Korea.
We can only be the best we can be every day. If we all just treated others the way we would like to be treated, the world would be a better place. Peace !

Well as you can tell, when you turn on the nightly news tonight, most people do not want to live peacefully. In fact you have entire countrys who's goal in life is to make war with everyone in the world. The only time this world is going to see people is when the new heavens and earth are created and then the lion will lay down with the lamb.

I believe we all want peace, Unfortunately tradition often gets in the way. Not everything can be either right or wrong, there has to be a middle ground. America is currently at war with a country that thinks us to be monsters because

1) That is what their government is telling them.

2) We have many different belief systems in our country. And people have the freedom to be idiots and slobbish fools. But that is what freedom is.

As long as there are those who with to impede on our freedoms and try to use fear to attack us and kill our women and children, we will return such a cowardly attack in full force.

We all want peace here, but until the rest of the world sees that it's ok to be a slobbish fool, because whe have the right to be so. then it is a fruitless cause.

No seriously...although we want to live peacefully a lot of our needs are met through suffering of others...the gift you are giving to your mother on mother's day out of love might be made by a 9 year old child in Chinese sweatshop; the car you may be driving to your seara club meeting might be runing on gas drilled by middle eastern tyrants. Read a book called 'Confessions of an Economic Hit Man', while it might not be entire accurate, it gives an insight into why we the peace loving people in developedcountries might be consuming goods that are generated through suffering of people just like us in developing world!

Because, unfortunately everybody doesn't want peace. There are too many people who had rather try to conquer others into submision in an attempt to become lord and master over all. Until we get EVERYBODY on the same page, we will live in a violent world.

I further believe that with humans there are some things that are not possible. However, with God, all things are possible.
