I havnt seen nor heard anything from him since the draft last year. Did he not make the team or go back to europe to play or what?

He went and signed a multi-year deal to play for a team in Spain.

I heard sumthin about his wife had a baby so he just layed the whole season off . .. i kinda doubt that's what happened though .. sumthin else had to happen..
Also if your drafted in the NBA's first round its an autimatic contract with the team that drafted you

He went back to Spain to play, and is under contract for a few more years.
