You are definitely right, and I can tell you why, that is because after being around some one and being with a person for so long, they start to pick-up ways from each other.
What I mean is, they start to do things alike, they may say and do certain things alike, If you really pay attention you can see the same things in children, let me give you an example If you have a step mom & stepdaughter now even though they do not have the same blood in their veins, they begin to favor each other because the stepmom is rasing the stepdaughter so she is picking-up things from her stepmom.
That is how it is, but when it comes to coulpes, the older the couple the more they favor......

My mother always used to say this. I think it is because they develop the same facial expressions after being together a long time. Also perhaps by natural selection(remember that from school?) we tend to choose mates that have our same general looks. It's all very interesting. Happy searching for the answer!

Maybe it's because people are more attracted to people who look like them and have other things in common with them. Also these people will have similar lifestyles, especially after they are married or have been dating a long time.

That has got something to do with cells. Like if you put cells of one beating heart next to another they will eventually pulse in uni-sin. So cells which form the two partners will eventually change to be more like each other.

I have noticed that, i thought i was the only one! whenever i see couples walking together i am trying to figure out if its their spouse or sibling,lol. maybe its because they are always around eachother and they feed off eachothers ora. i dont know i asked my sister this once and she thought i was crazy. glad to know im not the only one who noticed this. good thing my boyfriends cute

It's true. I have no idea why. Is it because they pick up each other's mannerisms? And have lived in such close proximity for so long? I guess it's just a thing!

It's all mental.
Because you always see them together. When you see one, you see the other. When you see one, you think of the other.
You're mind then associates one person with the other. Seriously, they don't look the same, your mind just sees them as a "unit".

its a perception
people also begin to look like thier pets or cars,
its imagination, humans way of associating one with the other, an infantile instinct you must learn to distinguish.

because people who have seen them together for so long begin to see the things they have in common such as physical features that you never noticed before because they weren't dating before!! hope this helps!! ~*lauren*~
